My top five:
1. In God we trust, all others bring data.
2. You have two ears and one mouth, use them in that proportion.
3. Be respectful of the past, realistic about the present, and optimistic about the future.
4. The first report from the field is always wrong.
5. Managers count people, leaders make people count.
