936 used that color code from 1977 to early 1987 .
I have not had a problem with this color in 55 line glasurit .
how ever I have had a problem with it in 90 line (h2o) .
with glasurit they gave 3 offerings .
936 from 1970 to 1976
936 from 1977 to 1980
936 from 1981 to 1987
there are only two silver tints used med aluminum and med fine aluminum .
all 3 formulas do change the amounts of the aluminum tints for each year of the colors listing .
as the car was painted with 55 line and not 90 line I know this is why I did or have had problems with some color matching between the two solvent based and H2O based systems .
we no longer will paint any thing that was done in solvent with H2O .
