I worked for a corvette restorer in high school mostly C-2 & C-3 in the 80"s

65-67 trip my trigger convertibles in particular some pretty raw power with the 427. They are easier to drive than my 930 but pretty raw and visceral all the same. The 911 is a consistent better looking car. C vette is more affordable car to own and keep , not a lot of surprises the transmission is bomb proof.

The new ones are pretty hard to ignore the Z06 is pretty awesome performance wise.

The styling is still a bit over the top.

I would consider owning a Corvette, cheapest horsepower for the dollar they are quite predicable.

I would take this car at the drop of a hat.

I would do some bad, bad things to have that in my garage. Damn.....

I'm with you guys on the Z06 as well, the C5 sells for stupidly low amounts of money. I made an offer for one at $15000 a while back, I think someone else beat me at $15500. Just a crazy amount of car for the money.
