944 lifting question and comment..

So I want to get my 951 turbo of the ground. putting one side on stands with the other on the ground is a little sketchy...or is it? Planned on placing stands under the frame rails just aft of the A-arms in from and another set on the outboard tube ends in the rear. Anyone see a problem with that?

Also, just a comment. A measure of safety I have taken with my 911 was to go and buy a long 8x10 timber (the kind they jack up houses with) and have the lumber yard cut it into 2' pieces. So when Im under the car I always have a safe zone to work in. I just leave them stacked in a corner of my garage on a HF rolling dolly that I can roll to the location I am going top place them. Might be a bit extreme in some opinions...but I have 2 small kids to think about.
