I like the roads getting in and out of the Bend...for some reason two lane roads through the SW work for me.
As far as Ajo, I flew a trusty SH-60B into Libby Army Air Field at FT Huachuca with a buddy of mine from Ajo. We rented a car and got into Ajo in the afternoon for a big (relative term) festival. It was a hoot being with a local.
