I went to Hagerty last year for all my pre-75 cars. I wanted the "stated value" policies and thought I was saving money over AAA tradition insurance coverage. Just one week later I got a letter from AAA saying they cancelled my umbrella policy!

I called to AAA raise hell and the underwriter told me about AAA's new Collector Car Program. It turned out to be better coverage for basically the same cost as Hagerty. They did stated-value on everything and reissued my umbrella.

If you have an umbrella, check with your current policy to see if Hagerty voids the coverage.

I recommend you call AAA before going with Hagerty.
