My mate had a set of polished fakes and you can tell by really looking in to the make up of the material.
By looking deep in to a polished spoke you could see small bubbles for when it was cast. The org wheels polished look really smooth (but it could be a different make ) that's how we found out the difference and the weight too as mentioned
