I think we have a "grass is always greener" situation here, Rick. Of late, I've toyed with the notion of throwing in my hat and going to get some automotive certs. As an automotive tech, you get to see the fruits of your labor; feel the satisfaction of a job well done as that car drives away. Most of what I do, the world never even hears about, let alone
sees. And once it's left my desk, I almost never get an update, either. Project after project, year after year.
