'New' old laptop
My daughter decided she needed a new laptop and passed her old one along to me.
It's an HP DV6000 running Win XP. I'm going to be using it mainly as a mobile repository for pictures once I get it all set up.
My problem right now is that the battery goes dead in about an hour with light usage.
So, where do I get the best bang for my buck battery wise?
I've looked quickly at Amazon and see there's an 8800mh one for @$30, while others are cheaper and smaller at 5500mh.
Is this a pure and simple case of bigger is better, ie longer life before recharge?
Thanks for any advice. I've been using my son's old Dell Inspiron, but only with the A/C plugged in. This new(er) HP has a card slot that'll make it simpler to download pictures, I hope, and I'm looking forward to making use of it out in the field.
