My 02 996 was a cab. the easiest way to put the roof on, and it took all of 4 minutes, was to rest the top here the lock close to the windshield with the lock on it unlocked. nw go to the back and with the tool that comes with it, hook it clockwise and lock it in. Do the same to the other side. Then comes the fromt. Windows are down.grab the middled locking mecinizum. Lock it in and that is is. All of 12 mins. Good luck.
