Yes sir... We had ham, collards, rice, black eyed peas and corn bread. We overcooked the darn ham but it was still good.
I love being southern; my wife was born in Minnesota and reared in Colorado but has adapted quiet well to southern cooking. She had never had a collard ( or any other cooked green), boiled peanuts, or many other "southern" delicacies before meeting me but I swear, she likes those things better than most that have lived here their entire lives.
Did I say I love being southern?
