Brian, is it an NA?
Ours had the same problem. It can be two things: 1) your muffler is getting a lot more flow, now, so rusty bits are going to rattle in the breeze...
and 2) I would have advised you to go to a "crinkle pipe" or something similar, straight through, that would have had a dampening effect (glasspack, anything. - the crinkle texture bounce the sound a little) - the test pipes seem to produce a lot or resonance...
If it's too bad, start w/ new muffler.
BTW, headers are loud, anyway (thinner walls). We eventually went back to our stock manifolds and got our mid-range back...
