I don't know anything about the smog laws.
When I owned it, the car had a 1982 engine but it still had the original 1978 CIS system on the engine. The guy from Atlanta didn't seem like the type to know a muffler bearing from a kneutson valve. But who knows.
Taken when I bought the car; maybe even the same day since it still has the POs name on the roof.
