Joe, this is what we had back in the day. They are adjustable for slip. You can have it nearly locked or pretty loose. You can also set it up to let the clutches slip if you are on a slick track. Not that you need that feature on a rock crawler. Welcome to the world of RC land vehicles.

Sid, I have a question for you about early model 911s.

HA! I had a similar iteration of this out back on my first R/C build, RC10-T.

Takes a while to save the $500 and learn as you build...when you're 9 years old.
