I've been reading all the news about 911 air cooled cars and the pricing that seems to have gone a little wild since the summer. I just wanted to let everyone know that there are still some nice cars available and you may want to look in unusal places and then on the other hand I found this in the middle of a farmers field locked up. The Owner had become disabled and the Estate didn't know what it was worth and cast it off because noone had bothered with it in 12 years.
Long story short I took it home cleaned the cow flap off it and change the oil the gas tank the fuel pump and plugs and the motor runs like a top. There was a long preiod of discussion over it's worth and fotunately noone came around and knew what it was while I was going over every day and trying to buy it. At the end I bought the car ( a one Owner at that) for $7K cdn. Lucky isn't the word. Horseshoes in the butt is !!!!
There's still some deals out there it's finding them. If a Canuck in a farmers field can do it anybody can find the car they want. There's a Porsche out there for everyone. Keep looking.
