Any of you guys have inlet temp numbers?
I've used 3 different turbos on my Carrera 3.4, and have seen inlet temps 10-15 degrees over ambient on 100+* days using a 3.5" thick core, full bay IC with 2.5" inlet/outlets.
The Turbonetics 60-1 (60mm) and Borg Warner S366 (66mm) both have ran similar temps, the Holset HX40 (58mm) ran the warmest, but spooled ~1000RPM sooner, possibly accounting for the additional heat.
Curious what you guys see using which turbo and IC.
I've ran 1.2 and now 1.4 bar.
