Nothing good happens after 2am...unless it's '06-08 and you're me answering one of the half dozen booty callers I somehow managed to manage. UConn was fantastic 
I have a whole bunch of cop pals. They told me the plate readers are $35-40 to outfit on a cruiser...and have an ROI of less than 2 months!
