eeewww snakes, I don't really like snakes.

One of my fondest memories of snakes is hiking in the plateau in Tasmania around the great lakes at the beginning of summer, the undergrowth is about 12-18 inches deep, and the red belly black and copperheads were laying on the top of the thick grass and stubble to warm up, when you disturb them they go under the grass and you can't see them, but you know they are farkin there, aaaaaahhhhh!!!! Always took antivenom vial with us, as much for the dogs as us.

My thoughts were you always took dogs with you because they scout along in front and hopefullly scare the snakes away before you get there!! I'm still alive aren't I!
