Porsche Crest 1971 FS 914 project

I'm posting this for a friend of mine.
The car has been a long term project for the last 10 years. Originally the car was in decent shape with a blown motor (rod came out the top). It still had original paint and did not have much rust.
The car was taken completely apart and about 2 years ago the body work was completely done. What ever litle rust the car had was cut away and the proper repair panels where welded back in. The battery box area was entirely replaced.
The rear section of the floor-pan had some minor rust and it also was re-placed with a new panel. There was some minor rust on the top of the fenders where the fender meets the cowl and that was all cut-out and a new piece was fabricated and welded in. That area was also brazed to the cowl eliminating the litle piece of beading, but the "seem" is still visible. In other words it is not just filled-in.The car was originally green and it is now painted Signal green (1989 911 speedster color) with all DuPont products. There was over $2500 spend on the body and paint alone.
Re-assembly of the car was started, but it is at a stand still now. There is over $1000 worth of new seals purchased that go with the car.
All the parts are pretty much there.
It does need a windshield, it was cracked and re-moved to paint the car.
It also needs a motor, although the sheet metal is there.
This is a very solid car for some-one that want's to finish it or some one that has as a donor car (motor, etc).
The car is located in south florida.
Asking price is $2500.
There is a 2.0motor available for $600. It is a 2.0 Type 4 with 1.8l heads and a mild cam for dual carbs.
