In that thread, we have already determined the sender is not broken.
When the sender is removed and bottomed out, it reads 67 ohms, which is supposedly correct.
When connected, at 67 ohms, the gauge shows 1/2. This proves it's the gauge, and not the sender.
So, the sender is doing sending what it's supposed to. Sending 67ohms at E.

Looking for info on how to repair the gas gauge.
