I always wondered where that BS rule of no swimming after you eat get started. As a kid I was swimming all the time, either in a pool or the ocean. As a teenager more than once I snarfed a burger and then went to the pool. I often when for a bike ride after a meal. I never ever even once got the cramps after eating followed by physical activity.
My mom was convinced I would die if I went swimming within 30 minutes of eating. I guess I cheated death a lot.
