Well uwanna is partially correct. The 86 930 flanges are the same as the 85.5-86 Carerra flanges. The earlier 930 flanges also had a hole in the spline end to go over a boss in the diff and I am not sure if the length was the same. Here are some photos. First is a pair of 86-930, you can see the part number. Next is a G50 flange beside a 915 fine spline. I had a machine shop shorten the G50 and widen the relief after the spline (no photo of those). I'll try to dig out a set and take photos
