Lost shopping by the gazillion variety of kitchen sink faucets. Our old one laughably now has a PIN HOLE (invisible to the eye) THROUGH THE METAL CASTING just above the spray nozzle. POS that shoots a stream at ones shirt!
I believe its a Delta brand. Garbage metallurgy, cheap porous casting, probably Taiwan made. Could care less about a warranty with this company and don't want another from them. Wife wants the following features - goose neck, single lever, pullout sprayer, multi spray head (spray, stream and pause).
Looked at Pfister, American Standard, Moen, Kohler. Only American Standard noted on the carton as being made in Mexico. Moen mentions parts are China, Taiwan, Mexico and 'some assembly done in USA'. The others don't mention on the cartons where manufactured. What are they hiding? Some of the rubberized levers on Kohler are junk as they were falling off on the display shelves. Others had a stainless looking spray head but actually just a plated plastic.
Whats good these days?
