I currently have 3 cats.

The senior, Peach, is 16 and she's cranky. Just likes to eat, sleep, and be pet. Tolerates the 8 yr old, Gandalf. Has zero use for Loki the new guy who is maybe 12-16 months old.

Loki is frisky, playful. We got him for the Gandalf after Turok passed on as Gandalf seemed lonely.

All was fine at first but lately the shine has worn off for Gandalf and Loki needs a real playmate.

We don't want to stress Peach more by bringing in a 4th cat. But she could hang in there a few more years.

Was thinking of getting Loki a Ferret.

I've been around a fair amount of them and they are fun.

Never shared my space with one so......

Opinions?

And yes, in my house we get pets for our pets.
