I hear you and agree.
But they would have had to use their only timeout
had Lynch not made it in on 2nd down.
Then they wouldn't have enough time to run another run play and fail.
They chose to run the pass play first....and then have TWO more plays to run it in if needed.
Like I said - they were thinking overall strategy.
I also believe if Wilson had done his job better.....they would have won the game.
