If it's a left hand drive car, look on the inside of the driver's door jamb, at the front, near the door check strap. Grand Prix White would be paint code 908.
It was a standard paint color in 1977, so it shouldn't be paint to sample. I have a white 1977 Carrera 3.0 and it looks just like your car, so...
