Then there's Exodus. Plagues, God drowning the Egyptians, Israelites made to wander.. Goes on and on.
If you want to go toe to toe on religious scripture, the Bible is quite on par with the Koran.
This belongs in PARF.

Genesis 7:4 - the difference is that God says that HE will destroy everything. He is not commanding others to do the destruction.
Genesis 22:2 *continue from your quote*...
And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me....
I'm well aware of the violence in the bible. The difference is the context in which the violence takes place and the actions that are commanded of the followers.
for example take Exodus 23:22
But if you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries. - nowhere does it say to lop off your enemies head
Leviticus 26:6
And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. -This talks about how God will protect you.
Here's one that talks about murder:
Dt.13:6-10
"If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you ... Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." -when I read this I don't feel like going out and killing people that don't believe in "MY" god. This is more of a defensive context.
To compare the cluster f*ck that is Islam to Christianity is like trying to find commonality between oil and water.
