the son of one of the guys i work with is at the navy recruiter RIGHT now wanting to sign the paper work to go in as a SP or police officer.
the ONLY job they say they have is a COOK. they are telling him to sign up now as a cook and he can try to transfer to security. i think this is all BS.

i think these guys are a couple of used car salesman trying to pressure him into something he does not want to do just to fill a slot. they say they only know what jobs are only THAT day.

i was in the air force and it was nothing like that when i went in. when i went in i signed up for gauranteed electronics then waited on a date to go to basic. the navy claims they can not do this.

is there anyone out there that has had recent navy experience that knows how the recruiting works?
oh, the recruiters are also claiming they will do all they can once he signs up to get him into security. i did tell him that is not true. once his son signs that paper they are DONE.
