he is dead set on the navy

i told him to tell his son that if he cant go into security that he was going to the AF. then leave.

what gets me is that they are telling him there is NOTHING else and that they cant see what will be open in the future.
problem is the boy is there by him self and i am betting there are 2 or 3 recruiters working him over trying to get hiim in a a cook. i also told the guy i work with that in the AF the people that failed the tech schools ended up as cooks, bus drivers, security and jobs like that. (i did not say security but they did).
i dont think his parents knew how all this was going to work. what they did is took the boy to fort jackson about 3 hrs away for him to sign up and pick his job. then i guess he would come home and wait for his date to go in.

when i went in the local recruiter did all this. i signed my initial paper work and got my job then waited on a date. i still was not "in" at this time, just saying i would go and gauranteeing my job. i think the navy is getting these kids away from parents so they can manipulate them.
