At the time, it was. These are much different animals than any aircooled car. They are money eaters, hate to sit, and on top of it not many are into that styling. It is what it is I guess. I thought they were always underrated but they take a serious life commitment to keep. As an investment I am still on the fence. No one would go near a 1978 a couple years ago. Even with all the books, stamps, gas receipts, titles, window stickers, original this or that, I don't think $35K. Not now. Maybe next year.

Well lets check back on this in a couple of years. I might be wrong...but not on documentation. No books and docs is a 50% hit for collectors on most vintage Porsches.
