I have had a 1980 928 for 19 years now. I have had 4 911's from 1965-1986 as well. The 928 has been no more maintenance than the 911's. I think it has a bad rap as being an electrical nightmare which other than window switches i have never had any reason to believe. They are cool and fast as hell like the 911 just different. I think if I was to survive a nasty crash in any vehicle I own I would put my butt in the 928. The doors close like a bank vault and its very well built. I think that eventually everyone will get priced out of 911's and the 928 will become more interesting.
