Paging Pelican vets.
Our Bordercollie got in a fight with two other dogs Wednesday evening.
She got her asz chewed, literally...
We went to the vet a she had a 4cm gash in her rear left leg, and a good patch of skin torn loose from the flesh.
The gash was partially stitched so any fluids and pus can come in case of inflammation.
She is also on antibiotics.
When we feel on the upperside of that leg it feels like there are a lot of very tiny bubbles of air or fluid inside, moving around when squeezed. It is very weird to the touch, sponge like and you can even hear it when you squeeze it...
It does not seem to be painful but we are worried nonetheless.
Seeing a vet again asap.
In the mean while, any vets got an idea what this could be??
