turns out contaminating my clutch disc forcing me to pull and replace was a blessing in disguise.

when installing the new clutch disc, had trouble getting the bell housing on.

had set the speed sensor clearance to the ring gear wrong. so set the crank sensor pin way to high and hitting the bell housing. don't even like to think of what would have happened if I had not discovered this.

updated my 'warning' thread with my full confession.

will get back to fixing this coming weekend and hope to have some progress to report.
