Zackly... I don't want a "classic" that I would worry about... heck even my 944 was a beater... I would park it out in front of the pizza parlor (where I could keep an eye on it) with the windows down... freaked my friends out "IT'S A PORSCHE!"

That is probably the direction we will go, we even test drove one and I rather liked it. {even dated a lady that owned one before I met my wife...shhhhh} Nice cars but there is something about the simplicity of the old air cooled bugs... I wouldn't think twice about attempting a clutch or valve adjustment on an old airhead.
