Yes, I have successfully slept on the crapper on several occasions during late night IBS episodes. The wall is close enough in the throne room I can lean on it and sleep without falling over or off. No pillow, but have thought seriously about getting a padded seat.
Quite an experience waking yourself up shooting the brown water cannon. Very relieving when you realize you are already on the crapper.
