There was an article in Excellence 3-4 years ago about a guy who did this. He also had a thread about it on RL as he did it. Think he may have posted here too.
But if you are not a DIY guy the cost is no joke. Parts and labor will run you close to half what a 964 driver is worth. Now obviously a low mileage car is worth more, which makes the argument against even stronger. Path of least resistance is obviously sell original car and get a nice MT driver. That is unless you are really attached to your current car.
