3.0L 911 engine before the skyrocketing prices. Paid $1250 for it.
$6,000 worth of land in a national forest. Sold for $25,000 after plans fell apart to use it.
Shorted an oil ETF last June. I bailed after 100% return...could have made 250%.

And a $5000 video camera with money I didn't have while in college. Launched my side freelance company which pulls in some nice extra change every year.
