Del, that's a great read. I traveled from Saigon to Hanoi and most points in between, except for a flight between Hue and Hanoi. What really struck me is the vibrancy and life of Saigon, and the industrial oppression of Hanoi. Such a contrast. I also got to spend some time with a former south VN army guy and hear his stories. He was our personal guide for the DMZ portion of my trip.
