Motion, I have watched a ton of German movies on WWII, all in German and very much made from the German perspective. They are not necessarily sympathetic to Germany, but did not change how I view the right and wrong of WWII. But they certainly gave me some great insight on what was going on with everyday Germans at that time.

I can't think of any on Vietnam, made from the Vietnamese perspective. But if you want to see a somewhat anti-war documentary on Vietnam, I would suggest Hearts and Minds. It won't dispute the real facts you already know, but will give you a feel for what US soldiers, politicians and even Vietnamese civilians were thinking at the time.
