That is why I still love my 85 El Camino. Roll up windows, manual door locks, no speakers in the doors. There is no electrical wires to either door. 30 years and 334,000 miles and never once a door wire failure. Just like my 911 has never ever had a water leak.

Now the wire to the AC evaporator blower took me hours to figure out. It is a silly little hidden connector in the engine compartment that can't handle the load. I finally just soldered and shrink wrapped that wire.
