It still amazes me how things have changed in four short years. If that car was advertised that long ago, you would have had to schedule a Dr. appt to address the stomach cramps you were having from laughing so hard. Now it's actually becoming a serious contender. Amazing!
Every nite before bed I spend about an hour driving around the country on Craigslist looking at all the Porsche's for sale. Some really strange stuff out there.
If you haven't done that, here's how.
Load up your local Craigslist. In the top left search box enter Porsche. Leave the box below on "For Sale" and hit search. This will bring up everything that's Porsche related, even if it's incorrectly listed under plumbing supplies. Parts, cars, shirts, hats, posters, etc.
Once you have looked at that page of results, go to the very top left drop down menu that has all the nearby cities. Pick any city and click on it. "Porsche" will remain the search, but a new city will come up. If you know your geography, you can move to the west, north, south, or east around the country one city at a time and find everything out there in a short amount of time. It gives you a great overview of what costs what, and where the deals are.
Right now the best prices on the best cars seems to be in the Dallas area, but there are some great deals even in N. Dakota or some other obscure area's. Have fun, I do.
