Mother-in-law moving to town
Now that her (2nd) husband has died she's leaving SoCal to be nearer to my wife (only daughter).
Not dreading it at all - she's a sweetheart, has enough money to afford an all inclusive "active seniors" apartment with available skilled care services, and will only be a couple of miles from us, so no big deal to go visit. The other upside is when we want to travel she'll come stay at our house and pet-sit.
Anyone else have a parent from afar "move to town"?
