Depends how far you want to take it and your car's condition. The wiring on my '71 is still in generally good shape. I just took the engine harness off a '78 motor I'm rebuilding and it is also in amazing good condition.

The problem area is the fuse block. A good cleaning and new fuses will probably be a good idea. When you re-install the wiring clean all the plugs and connectors and you should be fine.

Now, if your insulation or wire coverings are hard and cracked, you may have some work to do.
