After this week, I think you should open a post titled, "What did your car to to You today?" I'm ready for a scotch. After taking my rotors off to do a total brake rebuild, I found that two of my rotors that were ordered on ebay and titled "Rear" were in actuality front rotors. So now I have 4 front rotors and a car up on jacks. Oh, by the way, I sold my restored Nile Green metallic N/A to buy a BMW which my wife doesn't want so It's for sale. Separation anxiety got the better of me so I found an '86 944 Turbo on ebay in Illinois (Texas car) for cheap so I bought it right away. Now the fun begins. I spend a day checking wiring connectors only to find that the inoperable power mirrors had been replaced and not wired in. Then I found the Distributor cap wasn't secured on the bottom screw so I secured it and now the car won't run. More parts on order. Decided to fix a supposed O ring seal in the Transaxle oil cooler only to find that someone buggered up the plug in part of the cooler line and That's a hard to find and expensive part. The only thing that's gone good so far was TireRack purchase and installation of new tires and finding a great rear hatch that's not delaminated a two hour drive from here. I know that's not a "day in the life" but I NEEDED TO VENT!

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
