Skinning the cat
IF it fits, it fits, if it hits, it hits. Buying somebody's tools does not guarantee you will do the job correctly anymore than making your own guarantees you will fail. To quote Dirty Harry, "a man's gotta know his limitations". Most important is understanding the procedure, the results of wrongly timed actions and knowing how to proceed cautiously and double check your own work.
I think there's a youtube video showing a man who can skin a deer in 2 minutes. It's about a 45 minute job for me, at minimum. To each his own. An ephiphany can occur to anyone at anytime, about anything. We just hope it's not after his engine is reduced to a smoldering pile of clanking scrap metal.
