In this first picture - the 1 inch mark is placed at the center of the bend - I get about 4-3/16":
At this picture the end of the tape is at the end of the bracket - I get about 1-11/16" to the center of the bend :
In this picture the 1 inch mark is aligned with the edge of the bracket - there is about 1-1/16" flat at the switch and 1-1/4" across the base including the strengthening flange:
