Well, the repaired rad is working fine - the temp indicator sits lower now, though, so I might have bumped something or set it out of whack when re-assembling.

Also of note, I finally installed FR Wilk's 944S2 chip this morning.
All I can say is that everything is as advertised. I love it!
I did notice a lack of response from idle up to 3.5k before, that's all gone now. Feels like it should - a linear power response up until 5-6k, tailing off a little to the top end 7k mark, but not a lot.
