Those cops sounded way too wound up at the beginning of the incounter. And one can see how the mistakes snowballed as it went along.
Those folks were treated as tho they were known to be armed and dangerous from the get go.
A bit TOO HEAVY HANDED seeming to me for the circumstances.
Sounded like the cop expected the lady to raise up her crutch and tommy gun them with it.
Part of the problem is there are little direct consequences for the officers involved.
Once it involves lawyers and the courts its all on the department, and eventually tax payers to cover the costs. At worst they gat a paid leave to think about it.
This sort of attitude by the cops is the sort of interaction that leads to the mistrust so prevalent with the public today!
