The car sat from 1991 until now in his semi heated garage. I have title in hand will be checking with KS registry to verify Hans' claim the car was never registered or inspected. Will post pictures when I have the car next week.

Which story is correct? Or, which part of which story? As I mentioned, I spent considerable time on the phone with Hans about the cars, and he specifically told me he sold the 911 for $5k. I certainly don't understand anyone paying 3 times the advertised asking price for any car, especially if it sold shortly after the listing started. ($7500 minus $2500 for 924 = $5000)
As for him being a dealer. He certainly needs to update his showroom. It is very clear to me that the 911 had been on jack stands since the floor jack is still under the rear sump in the pictures, and one of the jack stands is off to the side. The 924 is still on the dollies and covered with a heavy coat of dust. Not quite how a dealer displays his wares.
Hans told me he was selling the cars because he had gotten into doing woodworking with his grandkids and needed the room to pursue that hobby. His table saw is clearly visible in the background of the 924, and the stack of lumber behind the 924 is lumber he has been buying on Craigslist for his new hobby.
This entire story is so full of holes that it's nearly impossible to tell who has the correct information. I'll have to get someone local to go look at the 924 and get some actual face time with Hans to get a backup to all this.
