The economy has been bad an gotten much worse the last few years. I have had a few experiences where I offered one of those guys jobs and they looked at me like I just offered them a case of the clap
I keep food in the car to give them, no money. California has great weather and great bennies for the welfare cases, no wonder at all that things look like they do here.
